«OUTER NST» WRAP
«OUTER NST» WRAP
Designed for protection of composite insulation coatings (used for corrosion protection of outer surfaces of underground oil and gas pipelines, public utility pipelines, gas grids, water conduits) from mechanical damage.
The «OUTER NST» wrap is a two-layer coextruded white tape. White base material consists of stabilized high-density polyethylene. The adhesive material is a synthetic butyl rubber elastomer.
The «OUTER NST» wrap comes in four types: «OUTER NST-500», «OUTER NST-625», «OUTER NST-750», «OUTER NST-1000».

APPLICATION
The «OUTER NST» wrap is used as an outer protective layer for protection of pipeline insulation coatings, including two- and three-layer polyethylene factory coatings, from mechanical damage.
Compliant with EN-DIN 12068 and AWWA C 214 International standards. EN 12068 Class C mechanical resistance.
The «OUTER NST» wrap is designed for mechanical (by coating machines and devices) and manual application to pipe surface at ambient temperatures of +5 to +50 °С (recommended by the manufacturer).
The «OUTER NST» wrap’s operating temperature is –20 to +60 °С.
