CONTROL AND MEASUREMENT STATIONS FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL PROTECTION OF PIPELINE PARAMETERS «KPEHZ-OZOM»
Intended for control (adjustment) of the electrochemical protection parameters and for marking routes of the underground and surface gas- and oil pipelines.
«KPEHZ-OZOM» station is a unit which casing is made of polymeric composite materials and which includes: terminal panel, cover with a lock, anchoring device, signal cap and distance mark (by the clients request).
«KPEHZ-OZOM» station may be provided with cables, joint protection unit (if required) and other devices that ensure serviceability of the station.

APPLICATION
Type 1 — the station is buried in soil above the underground facility, the cross-section of the station casing is made as an equilateral triangle. Such stations are intended for placement in the linear part of the pipeline.
Type 2 — buried in the ground above the underground structure, cross-section of the housing item is a square. These items are designed to be installed on industrial sites and on the linear part of the pipeline.
Type 3 — the cross-section of the station casing is square-shaped. Such stations are intended for a hidden placement in the industrial platforms of the pipeline and are installed not higher than the soil surface.
«KPEHZ-OZOM» stations are arranged along the underground communication system route:
-
in straight sections within the visibility range, however, at least each 500-1,000 m
(depending on the corrosion hazard of the particular underground systems);
-
in turns of the underground system route;
-
on both sides of the underground system route crossing points with artificial and natural obstacles (roads, rivers, etc.);
-
at the drainage cable connections to the underground systems;
-
at the points where the insulating flange connections are installed;
-
at the crossing points with the routes of other above-surface and subsurface systems.
Also, it is possible to use the station instead of a distance mark to indicate the pipeline exclusion zone. Presence of the distance mark in the station construction makes it possible to visually survey the pipeline route from air. The climatic version UHL 1 has the operating temperature range from –60 °C до +60 °C.
