PLASTICIZER DIOCTYL PHTHALATE (DOP)

Plasticizer-dioctyl phthalate (DOP) is used for plasticizing PVC and its co-polymers, polystyrene, polyvinyl butyral, resins, rubber as well as mixed ethers and ethers of cellulose.

Is a viscous oily liquid which has chemical properties that are characteristic of compound ethers.

APPLICATION

Plasticizer — dioctyl phthalate (DOP) is a low-volatile product. Its boiling temperature at atmospheric pressure is +380 °С. And the solidification temperature is –50 °С.

It is used for producing cable compounds, artificial leather, polymer-based construction materials, rubber articles, linoleums, packing films and for other applications.
